Lavender Haze Spritz

FRE Alcohol-Removed Pinot Grigio Lavender Haze Mocktail

Simple syrup ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3–4 Sprigs of fresh lavender
  • 3–4 Sprigs of fresh thyme

Mocktail ingredients:

Directions:

  1. To prepare the lavender-thyme simple syrup, start by combining 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Whisk the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved, then bring it to a boil. Once boiling, add 2 tablespoons of dried lavender and 4-5 sprigs of fresh thyme. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for ~10 minutes.
  2. After simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the syrup to infuse for 1 hour. Once infused, strain the syrup to remove the lavender and thyme, then set it aside.
  3. To make the mocktails, place 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries, 2 tablespoons of the lavender-thyme simple syrup, and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake the mixture vigorously for 1 minute. After shaking, evenly distribute the contents between two glasses filled with ice. Top off each glass with 4-5 oz FRE Alcohol Removed Pinot Grigio to taste. Garnish with extra blueberries, a sprig of thyme, or a slice of lemon.
