Apple Pie Sangria
Ingredients:
- 2oz FRE Alcohol-Removed Chardonnay
- 2oz apple juice
- 1oz lemon juice
- Dash vanilla simple syrup (recipe follows)
- Honey and cinnamon sugar, for rim
- Apple slices and cinnamon sticks, for garnish
- Vanilla Syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup distilled water
- 1-2 vanilla bean pods
Directions:
- Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan.
- Open vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out beans into water. Add the pod to water as well.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and simmer until sugar is dissolved.
- Strain and place in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
- Combine apple and lemon juice with FRE Alcohol-Removed Chardonnay and vanilla syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake until cold.
- Rim your glass by dipping in the honey first, then cinnamon sugar mix.
- Fill glass with ice and strain drink into the rimmed glass.
- Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks.
