Creating our alcohol-removed wine isn’t much different from making traditional wine—at least initially. We select grapes from premier California vineyards, carefully choosing sites that beautifully express the characteristics of each grape variety. Following harvest, our winemakers craft each wine using traditional methods, achieving rich flavor, alluring texture and excellent balance.
Here’s where it gets interesting. We use state-of-the-art spinning cone technology to remove the alcohol, while preserving the wine’s delicate aromas and flavors. On its journey from our vineyards to your glass, Fre is transformed into a robust, flavorful wine—minus the alcohol.
